Ideal dimensions for 1 person
This single-person hammock measures 1.50 meters wide by 3.50 meters long. It's ideal for one person, and can be used indoors or outdoors. We don't recommend frequent outdoor use, and bringing it indoors in bad weather. What's more, it's a heavy hammock that will take a long time to dry out if left in the rain. It's a L hammock that needs to be treated accordingly. To be used at home or sheltered if possible.
The Colombian hammock: a cultural history
Rooted in pre-Columbian history, the Colombian hammock transcends the centuries as a cultural symbol. In fact, it was once indispensable to Caribbean peasants, who used it to give life, to carry the sick and even to end their days. Today, some indigenous populations still carry on these traditions. Thanks to our work as an importer, this 1,000-year-old heritage has been brought into our urban environment.
